Privacy Policy

Last updated October 10, 2026. A plain-language summary of how we handle the information you share with BKD Ventures.

Who we are

BKD Ventures, LLC(“BKD Ventures”, “we”, “us”) is a business growth practice based in Phoenix, Arizona. This policy explains what information we collect through bkdventuresllc.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us or what your browser shares when you visit.

  • Contact form: your name, email address, company (if you provide it), the topic you select, and your message.
  • Direct contact: any details you share when you email or phone us.
  • Basic visit data: standard technical information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, collected through privacy-focused website analytics.

Please do not include sensitive personal information, such as health, financial account or government ID numbers, in the contact form.

How we use it

  • To read and reply to your enquiry.
  • To discuss and, if you choose, deliver our services to you.
  • To keep ordinary business records and meet legal obligations.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it.

How the contact form works

When you submit the form, your message is sent to us by email through Resend, an email delivery service. We receive it in our business mailbox at brian@bkdventuresllc.com. We do not use your details for advertising and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the website and handle email:

  • Vercel, which hosts the website and provides website analytics.
  • Resend, which delivers contact form messages to us by email.
  • Our email provider, which stores the messages we receive.

These providers process information only to provide their services to us, under their own privacy terms. Some may process data outside your country, including in the United States. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our website analytics are designed to measure visits without using cookies or building profiles of individual visitors. If this changes, we will update this page.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain ordinary business records. If we work together, we keep related records for as long as the engagement and our legal and accounting obligations require. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Where information is processed

We are based in the United States and work with clients in many countries. Information you send us, and information held by our service providers, may be processed in the United States or other countries whose data protection laws differ from those where you live. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the contractual terms our providers offer for international transfers.

Why we may process your information

If the data protection law of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or a similar jurisdiction applies to you, we rely on the following grounds:

  • Your consent, when you choose to send us an enquiry.
  • Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing a contract with you.
  • Our legitimate interests in running and improving our business and website, which are not overridden by your rights.
  • Compliance with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent at any time, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email us at brian@bkdventuresllc.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. We aim to respond within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires.

Notice for US state residents

If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, such as California, you may have the right to know, access, correct and delete your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise a right, contact us using the details below.

Do Not Track

Because we do not track visitors across websites, we do not change our practices when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

Links to other websites

This website may link to other websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies before sharing information with them.

Client confidentiality

Information you share with us during an engagement is handled under the terms of our engagement agreement or any confidentiality agreement we sign with you, which take priority over this policy where they differ.

Security

We use reputable providers and sensible safeguards to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
